An existing steambox was found to work inefficient, and after careful evaluation of the current process parameters and assessment of improvement potential, Nettingsdorf decided to replace this steambox by state of the art Valmet IQ Steam Profiler. Target was to achieve a significant decrease in specific steam consumption for the paper machine.
