White liquor plant
The white liquor plant completes the chemical recovery cycle converting green liquor to white liquor. The aim of the process is to produce as much strong white liquor as possible as efficiently as possible.
Wood handling
Valmet's wood handling concept incorporates all process stages, from infeed to storage, and process solutions for any climate and wood species. The result is high-quality chips and a lot of savings in the process.
Compaction Baffle Filter
Characterized by its compact, pressurized design, the CB Filter has offered pulp producers a solution with high washing efficiency, high feed consistencies and operating speeds, and minimal total costs for installation and maintenance.
White liquor oxidation system
The purpose of white liquor oxidation is to improve the Na/S balance of the Kraft process by replacing make-up caustic with internally generated alkali. Valmet offers two well-proven and efficient alternatives, an air-based oxidation system for the production of partially oxidized white liquor for oxygen delignification and an oxygen-based system for the production of fully oxidized white liquor for bleaching and oxygen delignification. Oxidized white liquor can also be applied for many gas scrubbing applications.
Vacuum Washer CORU-DEK
Valmet Vacuum Washer CORU-DEK technology provides high consistency stock discharge for high performance washing and thickening. CORU-DEK technology includes key design features that drive performance and make service and maintenance easier than ever, such as end-drainage design, anti-rewet decking, v-seals and the option for Coru-Lok® removable decking.
Fine screening
Fine screening for removal of shives and other impurities. Our fine screens can fulfill all capacity requirements and handle pulp consistencies up to 5%.
High-performance oxygen delignification
Valmet Oxygen Delignification system removes lignin with excellent efficiency. It is the ideal oxygen delignification stage and a great asset for pulp mills. Up to 65-70% of the remaining lignin after cooking is removed. This result remains unchallenged. The secret lies in the carefully optimized conditions.
Refining
Optimal blowline refining, hot stock refining, deshive refining and reject refining are key factors to achieve successful end products. Valmet chooses the refiners that are best suited for each application and customer.
Valmet Pressure Diffuser
Our Pressure diffusers are ideal as washing equipment after overloaded digesters. They provide high washing efficiency and reliable operation.
Screening
Valmet’s pulp screening systems are characterized by high capacity, high shive removal efficiency and excellent runability. Screening pulp at the highest consistency possible is the basic idea behind our unique screening concept. This results in a substantial reduction of the amount of water that has to be handled. Less water makes it possible to build more compact machines, which also means lower installation costs and energy savings.
