Less sheet breaks and improved sheet runnability at Sejong Mill
Since its foundation in 1958, Asia Paper Mfg. Co. Ltd. has specialized in the production of kraft paper, gypsum linerboards and testliner. Asia Paper is highly regarded in Korea, not only as the country's first industrial enterprise, but also for the high quality of its products and modern production processes. The machine at Sejong Mill produces liner and fluting and has a targeted operation speed of 1100 m/min.

New sizer roll cover boosts performance at Palm Wörth in Germany
Palm Wörth and Valmet set clear targets for improving the sizer’s overall performance. The current rubber roll covers were replaced with Valmet’s special polyurethane Sizer Roll Cover CF resulting in longer running intervals, better machine performance and less paper quality issues.

Innovative breast roll shell boosts reliability and performance
Metsä Tissue’s Mänttä TM 1 had previously operated the breast roll with a plastic shrink sleeve. This caused problems with dirt accumulating under the sleeve, yarns breaking due to wear, and the sleeve getting wrinkled. Because of sleeve changes, the typical running interval was less than a year.

The most flexible tissue making concept
The first Advantage NTT line was installed at Papel de San Francisco, in Mexicali, Mexico in 2013. The machine had a good start up, making saleable paper in the first couple of days. Both the operations people and the sales people in Mexicali are happy with the first Advantage NTT machine.
