Fiber technology center, Inkeroinen, Finland

Pilot facilities at Valmet’s Inkeroinen plant has excellent capabilities to run tests for the development of recycled and cellulose-based textile fiber technologies. Fiber technology center provides complete pilot processes for mechanical pulping, recycled fiber, stock preparation including refining and cleaning, and pulp drying.

Fiber Technology Center, Sundsvall, Sweden

Valmet’s Fiber Technology Center in Sundsvall offers process steps for bleaching, screening, washing, biomass pretreatment and high and low consistency refining. Sundsvall also features capabilities for running fiberboard processes and a wide range of pilot-scale mechanical pulping processes.

Lab services

Well-equipped analytical laboratories that perform physical and chemical analyses of raw materials, products and process liquors to support our customers’ R&D efforts are available at all Valmet’s pilot facility locations.
