Valmet to deliver key HT-BCTMP equipement to Shandong Jin Tian He Paper in China

Valmet will deliver key HT-BCTMP (high-temperature bleached chemi-mechanical pulping technology) line equipment to Shandong Jin Tian He Paper Co., Ltd. Valmet’s high-temperature pretreatment technology will enable the production of high bulk pulp for their board machine with relatively lower refining energy consumption.
The order was included in Valmet's orders received of the fourth quarter 2023. The value of the order is not disclosed. The project is scheduled for execution in spring 2025.

Technical information about the delivery
Valmet’s delivery will include a primary refiner, a pressurized impregnator and a preheater, steam separation, a low consistency refiner, screening and Valmet Wash Presses. Additionally, Valmet DCS was selected for the automatic control of the HT-BCTMP line. Valmet will also provide engineering, installation supervision, as well as start-up and commissioning supervision services during implementation.
In addition, Valmet will also deliver Valmet Conical Refiner Conflo units and a Valmet Deflaker to Shandong Jin Tian He Paper Co., Ltd. The order of the units and deflaker is included in Valmet´s orders received of the first quarter 2024. The value of the order is not disclosed.
With the packaging market’s demand for lower grammage and higher bulk density properties, Valmet’s HT-BCTMP technology is gaining increasing attention from the industry.
