Valmet strengthens its OT/ICS Cybersecurity Services by entering into a partnership with TXOne Networks

Valmet has signed a partnership with TXOne Networks, a global leader in ICS and industrial IoT (IIoT) security. Together they will better equip joint industrial automation customers with the protection they need for today’s vulnerable OT environments. The combination of TXOne Networks’s solutions for security inspection, endpoint protection, and network defenses with the leading Valmet’s automation and Industrial internet solutions, enhances the ability of industrial customers to better protect, respond, and recover from a cybersecurity incident with Valmet’s Cybersecurity Services. 

To maximize cybersecurity in a production environment, you need today's technologies that have been especially designed to be used in OT environments. We have identified TXOne solutions from all different OT security solutions to match the needs of providing network and endpoint protection and services. For example, applying security patches to OT systems is difficult and takes much more time than in IT systems. The TXOne Virtual Patching technology helps this by protecting Zero Day vulnerabilities on a network level before the actual patch is available and applied to the ICS system.
