“I’m absolutely delighted to see the successful production of coated white lined chipboard. Valmet’s key technologies and reliable equipment make for our production line’s core competitiveness. The technologies include OptiFlo Fourdrinier headboxes, which play a crucial role in paper formation, and OptiCoat Roll coating heads, which achieve uniform and smooth coating quality. The machine also features the new type of coating air dryer, OptiDry Coat double-pass, which offers high energy efficiency and low maintenance costs. They all strongly support the production of high-quality products and the company’s future development,” says Lin Tong, General Manager of Zhejiang Forest United Paper.

“Among the challenges during the project was the complexity caused by the involvement of multiple suppliers that increased difficulties in execution. However, both teams consistently maintained close cooperation and timely coordination to resolve any issues. Valmet’s team demonstrated professionalism, providing strong support to ensure the project’s progress. Moving forward, both teams will continue to work closely together and will further optimize efforts to achieve the production line’s high energy efficiency and high-quality production goals,” says Chen Xiaobin, Deputy Production Director of Zhejiang Forest United Paper.

“I want to thank Zhejiang Forest United Paper for their trust in Valmet. During the PM 6 project’s implementation, the imported part of the equipment delivery was shipped as scheduled, and the local team cooperated well. Together, we ensured the project’s steady progress,” says Petri Mattila, Project Manager at Valmet.

“We congratulate Zhejiang Forest United Paper on PM 6’s successful start-up. Valmet’s onsite installation and start-up team had to overcome some difficulties, especially in coordinating with other suppliers. We worked together with all parties to provide feasible solutions, helping the customer start up as soon as possible and winning their trust,” says Nancy Ji, Senior Start-up Manager at Valmet.
