St. Mary's starts up OptiLoad rebuilds

St. Mary's Paper has successfully started up three Metso Paper supercalenders after rebuilding them all with Metso Paper's OptiLoad technology.

As a result of these OptiLoad rebuilds, St. Mary's Paper now has advanced calender loading, roll weight relieving, profiling and high-temperature finishing capabilities for producing high-quality SC-A papers on PM 5 at their mill in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada.

Dan McKay, responsible for St. Mary's finishing operations, says they are impressed with the cooperation they've had with the Metso personnel.
