Oulun Kumitehdas renamed Metso Composites Oy

Oulun Kumitehdas Oy, operating as part of the Metso Paper Service business line, has changed its name to Metso Composites Oy. As of February 10, 2003, all business will be conducted under Metso Composites Oy. Metso Composites Oy will fully assume all contracts, rights and obligations of Oulun Kumitehdas Oy.

The Oulu-based Metso Composites Oy focuses on the development, manufacture and servicing of composite spreader rolls and other composite structures used in the production of fiber and paper. The company's state-of-the-art production facilities will be completed during the spring of 2003. The production methods of Metso’s Oulu roll covering unit will also be updated in connection with this investment project. After these investments Metso Composites Oy will be able to offer a full range of rubber roll covers and composite rolls.
