Metso to supply fiber board production equipment to YiYang SenHua, China

Metso will deliver a disc chipper and a defibrator system for fiber board production to YiYang SenHua Forestry Development Co., Ltd., Yiyang City, Hunan province, China. Start-up is scheduled for June-July 2011. The order value is not disclosed.
The equipment from Metso is of the latest technology and ensures the lowest possible production costs. The delivery includes a Camura GS horizontal feed disc chipper and an EVO 56 Defibrator system, related motors, control system as well as supervision and start-up.
The YiYang SenHua plant is designed for MDF (medium density fiber board) with a thickness range of 6 – 22 mm. The raw material will be poplar (85%) and pine (15%). The defibrator capacity is about 28 tonnes per hour.
YiYang SenHua Forestry Development was established in 2003. It is a modern private enterprise which operates in the field of poplar planting, afforestation, harvesting and related processing and selling. The headquarters is located in Yiyang City, Hunan province.
