Metso Paper to supply a complete tissue machine to HengAn Holding Co., Ltd. in China

Metso Paper will supply a complete tissue machine to HengAn Holding Co., Ltd, in An Hai Zhen, Fujian Province, China. The tissue production line will start up in the beginning of 2006. The value of the order is not disclosed.

The scope of the order consists of a PERIFORMER® Crescent tissue machine equipped with a SymFloTis-2 headbox with dilution system, a Yankee cylinder with a diameter of 5.5 m, an Advantage™Aircap yankee hood, process machinery, ventilation system, metsoDNA process control system, PaperIQ quality control system, as well as training and start-up services.

The new tissue line, which will produce 60,000 tons per year of facial and bathroom tissue and towel grades, will use 100 % virgin pulp as raw material. The design speed of the 5.5-meter-wide tissue machine will be 2000 m/min.

The order will be managed by Metso Paper Karlstad, Sweden. In addition to Karlstad, also Metso units in Gorizia, Italy; and Valkeakoski, Tampere and Järvenpää, Finland, will participate in the delivery.
