Metso Paper to modernize baling line of Stora Enso Nymölla mill in Sweden

Metso Paper has received an order for baling line modernization for Stora Enso, Nymölla mill, situated close to Kristianstad, in the south of Sweden. The start-up of the new equipment is scheduled for the end of May 2008. The order value is over EUR 1 million.
Metso’s scope of supply consists of a Robopress bale press, two Robotyer tying machines and three conveyors. Erection, start-up supervision and training are also included in the delivery. The existing installation is from the year 1971.
Installing a new tying machine will improve the de-wiring result before the pulper as the wire positioning will be more exact.
Stora Enso's Nymölla Mill is a modern integrated mill with the production of magnefite pulp and uncoated fine papers, i.e. document paper, digital paper and paper for envelopes and printing. A successful development of products has been carried out since the start of the mill in 1962. MultiCopy is one of the most well-known brands in its segment.
