Metso Paper sells majority of Metso Paper AG

Metso Paper, Inc. has sold the majority of Metso Paper AG in Delémont, Switzerland to Mr. Kari Nettamo as of March 1, 2007. Metso Paper will remain a minority shareholder in the company for a transitional period. The arrangement is in line with Metso Paper’s strategy to focus on its core businesses.

Metso Paper AG is the leading supplier of roll logistic systems and solutions and services for global print media and paper converting industries. The company has about 70 employees and it has an annual turnover of approx. EUR 10 million.

Kari Nettamo has held several management positions at Metso Paper and other companies in Finland and the U.S.A.
