Metso Paper GmbH and Metso PaperChem GmbH have combined their operations

Metso Paper GmbH in Pfungstadt and Metso PaperChem GmbH in Oberhaching have combined their operations as of January 1, 2003. This unification will enable Metso Paper Inc., to enhance its presence in Pfungstadt as the leading supplier of pulp and papermaking technology.

Combining Metso Paper and Metso PaperChem means a single source can reply to all needs related to papermaking, and to technologies concerning chemical and water management systems.

The main activities within the chemical management systems are in coating color preparation and recovery, pigment makedown, wet end and DIP chemical handling, size preparation and supply systems. The water management systems cover treatment of white water, effluent and fresh water as well Zero Discharge systems.
