Metso Paper and Metso Automation invest in new offices to better serve their UK customers

Effective 4 August 2003, Metso Paper and Metso Automation will begin operations from new facilities based in Birchwood Business Park, Warrington, Cheshire. The office will be staffed by personnel from Metso Paper in Borough Green, and from Metso Automation in Runcorn. Other Metso entities within the UK remain unaffected by this change.

Metso identifies the Cheshire area as being an ideal base to serve its customers in the paper industry and the energy and process industries. It is centrally located and enjoys excellent transport and communication links.

The investment in modern facilities will improve synergies between Metso Paper and Metso Automation’s Pulp & Paper Systems. In this way, Metso can offer a timely and well balanced service to its customers and enhance its position as preferred supplier to the paper industry.
