Metso is introducing a new customer channel for pulp and paper mills, Metso Portal for Pulp & Paper. The fast development of information technology and data security enables us to take a new step in our way of serving customers.
All Metso Portal solutions are tailored exactly to each pulp and paper maker's process, equipment and operating needs. They are based on our in-depth knowledge of processes, automation and machinery.
The personalized e-channel services focus on developing and supporting paper makers’ production processes and mill maintenance. Metso Portal offers reporting applications including remote diagnostics and service agreements, expert support and solution bank services, manuals, project management tools, product help desks, user clubs, spare part applications and product information including product catalogues, customer magazines and seminar papers. Further services that will shortly be available include training (e-learning), benchmark data, configurators and many more.
Metso's full selection of e-services include Metso web sites for public information, Metso Portal for Pulp and Paper as a collaboration channel, and electronic transaction channels which are being developed separately.
