Changes in Metso Paper's operations in Japan

Metso Paper's units in Japan, Metso Paper Japan Co. Ltd. and Metso Fiber KK, will be merged together. The new company will continue operating under the name Metso Paper Japan Co. Ltd., with the current leader Hiroshi Miura as the President.

The operations of Metso Paper Japan will be divided into two divisions. The Paper, Board and Finishing division will be headed by Hiroshi Miura and the Fiber division by Michio Imai, currently head of Metso Fiber KK.

The change of organization will be valid as of April 1, 2007.
