Webinar Description

Optimizing the user experience is expected to become even more important as the mill operator's role evolves from managing individual production areas to coordinating the entire mill operation and predicting future production constraints. Improving the user experience begins by considering the different users and understanding what information they need for their individual roles and responsibilities. This results in design standards for determining what is most important and then how and where to display that information. To better understand the effort required, we will discuss a case study of a user experience design implemented at a pulp and paper mill. In this webinar, you will learn about the key benefits of effective operator user experience, including how to:

  • Detect abnormal situations early
  • Successfully handle those situations
  • Complete tasks faster and more safely

[NOTE: The webinar will be in the English language. This webinar is only offered to process and energy industry facility owners, pulp, paper, board and tissue producers, process and energy industry consultants and university faculty and students. Use your company or university domain email address when registering. Products and services mentioned in this presentation may not be available in all regions.]
