Valmet receives tissue line order from Daio Paper Corporation in Japan

Valmet has been chosen as the supplier of an Advantage tissue production line to Daio Paper Corporation, Japan. The new tissue line, jointly delivered by Valmet and Valmet’s partner Kawanoe Zoki, will be installed at Daio Kawanoe Mill in Shikoku Island, Japan

This will be Valmet’s second tissue machine delivery to Daio Paper Corporation, and the first delivery with the state-of-the-art Advantage ViscoNip press technology.

Technical information about the delivery
The new Advantage DCT 200TS tissue machine, Daio Kawanoe N2, will have a width of 5,6 m and a design speed of 2,200 m/min. The machine will be equipped with an OptiFlo headbox and an 18 feet Steel Yankee cylinder. It will also be featured with the Advantage tissue technologies AirCap and Air system, a SoftReel L reel with Center Wind Assist, and the unique combination of ViscoNip press and ReTurne energy saving technology. Valmet Automation Systems DCS and QCS is also included in the delivery.
The raw material to be used is virgin fiber and the production line is optimized to save energy and enhance quality of the final product.
