Neles Eurohub goes live with the first orders

“Availability is key for our channel partners. With the new Eurohub concept, we can now offer them additional flexibility through our stock – and we are just a few hours away from their warehouse,” says Kalle Suurpää, Executive Vice President of Valve Controls and Actuators business line at Neles. “Our start with Eurohub has been promising, and customer feedback on delivery times, for instance, has been very positive,” Suurpää adds.

The very first order came from the UK, and, just recently, we received another order from Germany, from Industriearmaturen Göttgens. The company is one of Neles’ distributors for northern Germany and our trusted partner for all Neles solutions. Göttgens has over 30 years of experience in control and regulation technology.

Easy and fast ordering

Ordering is very easy for the channel partners. They just email their order to the Eurohub team. It will be processed and shipped within a few days.

It will be processed and shipped within a few days,” says Ulrich Gensicke, VP, VC&A Business Management at Neles. He has been involved in the Eurohub project since the beginning.

Eurohub stocks large quantities of standard Neles products and parts, such as Easyflow by Neles™ butterfly valves, Easyflow by Neles™ Rack and Pinion actuators, K-Series  limit switches, and spool valves.

“Eurohub is able to handle even bigger volumes for project business. Just-in-time delivery eliminates the need to stock larger volumes for our channel partners. By bundling the complete volume of all European channel partners, we can keep the stock lean and turn it more often,” Gensicke continues.

The new warehouse is very centrally located in Europe, in the Netherlands. The central location enables fast deliveries to all parts of Europe – in less than one week. Other countries, like Russia and Turkey, can be reached within 1.5 weeks.

Johannes-Falco Kreienbaum, Sales Manager for Valve Automation products in the DACH area, is particularly pleased with the ideal location for the DACH area. “As VC&A Sales Manager, I welcome our new warehouse happily. Fast deliveries are especially important to meet the customer requirements for actuators, limit switches etc.”

After the successful kick-off, and once we have learned more about our customers’ needs, we will expand our available product portfolio. We also have plans to implement additional services into Eurohub in the future.
