Recruitment (Workday) Privacy Notice
This privacy notice applies to all personal data provided by you in your job application and any subsequent information supplied by you in connection with your application
The data collected will be controlled by Valmet corporate HR and the respective country organization. If you are a user of LinkedIn and your LinkedIn settings allow data import to other companies’ recruitment systems, we may also combine some information from your LinkedIn profile with the information you give us directly. The data will be used for evaluating your suitability for open positions at Valmet. The legal basis for the processing is a request by the data subject prior to entering in an employment contract. If your application results in an employment relationship with Valmet, your information will also be transferred to Valmet’s HR system.
The data will be accessed by relevant Valmet HR representatives and persons participating in the selection. By default, the data will be stored in the EU. However, when needed, the data may be accessed by Valmet HR representatives and persons participating in the selection, from outside of the EU. EU Model Clauses are used as appropriate safeguards for the access from third countries.
Your candidate profile will be stored 12 months after your latest login, or 12 months after the latest completion of a recruitment process related to a position that you specifically applied for, whichever is later. Data specific to an individual position will be deleted 12 months after the completion of the recruitment process related to that position.
Valmet will support data subject’s rights, including access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing concerning the data subject or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability. The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (data protection authority).
