Modular rail-mounted controllers
ACN MRN controller
The high-performance Valmet ACN MRN is a multi-functional controller for centralized, distributed, and embedded applications. Valmet ACN MRN controllers are also suitable for standalone applications with or without a connection to Valmet DNA and Valmet DNAe.
Compact size and high processing power give the ACN MRN great flexibility. The controller can be fitted for small, medium, and large applications. In addition to built-in redundancy support, the ACN MRN features a removable SD card with all software and parameters for easily swapping to a new node.

SCN controller
The high-performance modular Valmet Smart Control node (SCN) is a multi-functional controller for centralized, distributed, and embedded applications. Modular Valmet SCN controllers are also suitable for standalone applications with or without a connection to Valmet DNAe.
Modularity and integrated features give the SCN great scalability. The controller can be fitted for small, medium, and large applications with excellent distribution support. In addition to built-in redundancy support for the automation network, interfaces, process controller, and power feed, the SCN features a removable SD card with all software and parameters for easily swapping to a new node.
Compact industrial controllers
ACN CS controller
The rack- or panel-mounted Valmet ACN CS controller is designed for embedded and standalone applications, including process controls, fast machine controls, advanced fuzzy or multivariable controls, and connectivity. It is suitable for standalone applications with or without a connection to Valmet DNA and Valmet DNAe.
The controller has no moving parts and features an IP20 enclosure with an optional conformal coating for enhanced reliability. Two extension slots for various PCIe cards expand the interfacing capabilities of the Valmet CS controller. It supports full one-to-one redundancy and redundant Ethernet and field bus connections.
