Short lead time of Valmet Calender Roll Cover CL-EC

PT. Riau Andalan Paperboard International is part of the April Group. From the Kerinchi mill, they offer a wide portfolio of pulp, paper and board product to their customers. They requested Valmet to manufacture the Valmet Calender Roll Cover CL-EC (Extreme Conditions) within 28 days from the roll's arrival at the Valmet Cikarang Service Center. The challenge was the lack of spare rolls and shells, requiring a very short lead time and ensuring on-time delivery.

Customer target	Due to a lack of spare rolls and shells, the lead time had to be extremely short , and on-time delivery was crucial.
Solution	Valmet was prepared to meet the tight schedule. Before the roll was sent to the Valmet Cikarang Service Center, the required raw materials and production slot were reserved for the customer prior the roll's arrival.
Results	Valmet Calender Roll Cover CL-EC was manufactured at the Valmet Cikarang Service Center wihtin 22 days, ensuring high-quality and fulfilling the customer's requested.
