Mondi Ružomberok started up a new containerboard machine in 2021 at their Ružomberok mill in Slovakia with support from Valmet. The mill is one of Mondi’s largest plants, and it is the biggest integrated pulp and paper mill in Slovakia.

The customer was looking for a proven technology for their OCC line to maximize recycled raw material yield and fiber quality potential. Valmet delivered the whole OCC line scope from wastepaper handling to the storage of the final stock.
