Moving forward together - Liansheng Pulp & Paper

An important milestone was reached for Liansheng Pulp and Paper’s massive Zhangpu greenfield mill project in China between May and June 2023. Two BCTMP (bleached chemi-thermomechanical pulp) production lines, cartonboard line PM 1, high-grade fine paper line PM 3, and two tissue lines, TM 3 and TM 4, were successfully started up in a great collaboration between Liansheng and Valmet.

In addition to more than 50,000 fatalities, countless homes, schools and businesses were damaged or destroyed. At Kipaş Kağıt’s mill in Kahramanmaraş, the machine hall and board machine PM 1 were severely harmed.
