Veränderungen am Standort in Kaiserslautern

Valmet hat ein formelles Konsultationsverfahren mit den Arbeitnehmervertretern über die geplante Schließung des Standorts Kaiserslautern (ehemals EWK Umwelttechnik GmbH) in Deutschland eingeleitet. Dies ist eine schwierige Entscheidung, die jedoch durch die Notwendigkeit zur Anpassung an die jüngsten Marktveränderungen und die gesunkene Kapazitätsauslastung und Rentabilität des Betriebes begründet ist.  
 
Trotz dieser geplanten Änderung wird Valmet sein starkes Engagement in der Abgasreinigungstechnologie und in der Lieferung von Nass- und Trocken-Elektrofilterlösungen fortsetzen. Alle laufenden Projekte werden wie vereinbart weitergeführt und wir sind in der Lage, auch alle zukünftigen Projekte zu realisieren. Wir bieten weiterhin Service für diese Produkte über Valmets weltweites Servicenetzwerk an.

Changes for Kaiserslautern operations

Valmet has launched a formal consultation process with employee representatives for planned closure of Kaiserslautern location (previously EWK Umwelttechnik GmbH) in Germany. This decision, while difficult, is driven by the need to adapt to recent market changes, as well as to address the declined capacity utilization and profitability of the operations. 

Despite this planned change, Valmet will continue the strong commitment to emission control technology and delivering wet and dry electrostatic precipitator solutions. All ongoing projects will continue as agreed, and we have full capability to deliver also any future projects. We also continue to deliver services for these products via Valmet’s extensive global service network.
